ERIC SAVARD

PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER OF ORGANISPORTS CONSULTANTS
All Organisports Consultants projects are coordinated from the early phases by Eric Savard in order to ensure consistency and maintain the firm’s rigorous approach. He offers a high level of expertise in strategic planning, governance, business plans including budgets (operating, municipal services and capital), risk management, venue management and capital projects.

Eric Savard has been involved in Sport Tourism as the Director of Transfer of Knowledge for over 20 years. He was member of the working group (2003) established by the Canadian Secretary of State (Physical Activity and Sport) to develop a Strategic Hosting Framework for International Sport Events, and a member of CSTA/COC/CPC working group (2013) aimed at establishing a strategy to complement the Federal policy for hosting international sport events. Eric Savard is a leading expert in the field, capable of directing any sport hosting assessment project.

Eric Savard’s background spans more than 35 years of events organization. Working in Monaco for 6 years, he was the Event Coordination Manager (1994-1999) for the International Association of Athletics Federations (now known as World Athletics), where he participated in the coordination of six World Championships per year, in 18 different countries on five continents. He has also lived in four countries and in five provinces in Canada where he organized several international events. Since 1999, he has also participated in Bidding/Transition/Organizing Committees’ Executive Management Team for 7 World Championships (Athletics (4), Football (soccer), Gymnastics and Triathlon) and 3 International Multisport Games. Eric contributed to the development of the new SPORTSQUÉBEC sport event management guidelines as well as an event management book, distributed by the Institut des Hautes Etudes en Administration Publique, based in Lausanne (Switzerland).

Over his many years of working in event planning and management, Eric has become known as an outstanding sporting event visionary and communicator.

NATHALIE COROND

PROJECT MANAGER
Since 2006, Nathalie Corond has worked as an independent consultant with the Organisports Consultants’ team and has been involved in all projects. Nathalie Corond has worked in planning, organizing and supervising the delivery of sport events for the last 30 years. Her experience in the field includes nine years with the International Association of Athletics Federations in Monaco (now known as World Athletics), during which, she held the position of Event Coordination Manager (1999-2006), with responsibilities including delivery of the World Championships as part of the World Athletics Series. Prior to her involvement in athletics, Nathalie made valuable contributions to four editions of the International Swimming Meeting in Monte-Carlo.

Nathalie Corond has training in tourism and sport management.

Nathalie is an excellent writer with expertise in project management, research, accommodation and human resources.
